General Information
The committee is comprised of nine people, 4 from town government (elected, appointed, staff) and 5 non-government town residents.
The committee shall review and make recommendations on the following:
- Town Charter- the authoring and adoption of a formal town charter
- Town Administration- review how the town operates on a day to day basis and how to best organize to meet existing and future needs. Considerations to include (but not limited to) Town Manager and Public Works Department.
- Representative Government- review the current boards and committees, their current roles, the extent to which they are utilized and how best to organize to meet existing and future needs. Considerations to include (but not limited to): expanding the Board of Selectmen and the possibility of district and at-large representation; combining boards/committees that are under-utilized or under represented; recommend as appropriate changes on appointments or election to board and committees.
